Detailed description of goods and/or services
SloJo is a business in the food and beverage industry that supplies products via an online and offline system to the trade and public.
Please note that should you not agree to the terms and conditions stated below, you may not use The SloJo online store. The site promotes the sale of various branded product lines. Purchases made from the site are subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement. By shopping or browsing on this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by this agreement, and the other policies displayed on this site.
The SloJo website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the prior written consent of SloJo.
Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3-5 days and delivery confirmed by order number. Delivery will take place via courier service SloJo, Courier IT, Dawn Wing or The Courier Guy.
Export restriction: The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
Warranties And Limitation Of Liability
By visiting the SloJo website on the internet you agree that using this service is entirely at your own risk. The site and its contents are provided on an “as is” basis and SloJo makes no representations or warranties of any kind.

SloJo, their directors, members, employers, employees and suppliers shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense which may be suffered.
By accepting the terms and conditions you indemnify SloJo from any loss or damage suffered, including without limitation in respect of any claim or demand by any third party by reason of any act or omission on your part or that of any family member, agent or representative acting on your behalf in connection with transactions concluded.
SloJo’s liability whether in contract or delict arising from any breach of any obligation in terms of this Agreement, negligence or otherwise shall not exceed at any time more than the monetary value of the items purchased with regards to any dispute.
The SloJo website and all communications and transactions concluded using the website, are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
The products which are displayed on the SloJo website is seen as an invitation to do business with SloJo. Transactions are only confirmed when SloJo has accepted your transaction and the acceptance is communicated to you via email or telephone call.
The price of any products sold through the SloJo website are excluding the shipping costs and shall be relayed to you at the time of your order. By visiting the SloJo website you agree that the terms and conditions will be applicable to all further transactions and website visits.
Cancelled orders and unwanted goods
You have 7 days the “day after” the day that the goods are received under the distance selling act from arrival of the goods to cancel your contract. The goods must be returned to us in the condition they were despatched, complete with all packaging and in a re saleable state. The goods remain your responsibility until they are received and signed for by us.
Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by SloJo is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, SloJo will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 1% administration fee.
Return of unwanted orders/items incur a handling fee to cover processing, see above. If an unwanted product is returned for exchange for a different product the customer will be charged or refunded any price difference.
Coupons
Only 1 coupon and free shipping discount can be used per purchase/order. This includes all promotional coupons, influencer coupons, newsletter subscriptions coupons etc.
If more than 1 coupon with free shipping is used for an online transaction, SloJo reserves the right to cancel the order.
As using more than 1 coupon with free shipping on checkout is against SloJo’s terms and conditions, any shipping costs incurred during the transaction will be non-refundable.
Customer Privacy policy
SloJo shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Stock
SloJo will take all reasonable efforts to monitor stock levels and ensure that when stock is no longer available, that listed products are removed from our website. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of stock and we will only be liable for delivery of the products when the products are available. When products are no longer available after conclusion of a sale, SloJo will notify you and you will be entitled to either selected another product or choose to receive a refund of the amount paid by you.
Electronic communications
When a user visits the SloJo website or sends e-mails to SloJo, you are consenting to communicating with us electronically. SloJo will communicate with you by e-mail.
When purchasing products, you are required to provide SloJo with complete and accurate information about yourself and you agree that the information provided to SloJo is correct. Purchasing from SloJo is restricted to persons over the age of 18. Any person not permitted to register as a purchaser but who does so, shall be guilty of committing fraud.
Free and Non-Free Email Accounts
Please note that without a valid/non free email address/account, you will not be able to purchase products displayed on the SloJo website with a credit card. SloJo will only accept payments via credit card or EFT if a free email address is provided.
Payment Options
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard or by bank transfer into the SloJo bank account, the
details of which will be provided once stock is confirmed.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for SloJo via Wallet Doc and Direct EFT who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Wallet Doc and Direct EFT uses the strictest form of encryption and no card details are stored on the our website.

Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by SloJo separately from card details which are entered by the client on Wallet Doc or Direct EFT secure site.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
SloJo takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and SloJo chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Variation
SloJo may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to SloJo and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by SloJo for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
SloJo Heritage Day Competition Terms and Conditions
17 – 24 September 2025
1. Competition Overview
The SloJo Trading PTY LTD competition (“the Competition”) is organized by SloJo Trading PTY LTD (“the Organizer”). The Competition will run from 17 September 2024 to 24 September 2024, and participants are required to comment on the designated post to enter. By participating in the Competition (with or without fully complying with the entry requirements), each participant agrees to be bound by these terms, which may be amended by the Organizer at any time in its sole and absolute discretion (in a written revision posted on the Competition website and/or by way of such other communication methods reasonably calculated to reach a majority of potential participants).
2. Eligibility
- The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 and older. Eligibility is subject to the participant meeting all qualifying criteria set out in these terms. Participants must reside in South Africa.
- Employees of Organizer, its affiliates, or any partners involved in the organization of the Competition are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry Requirements
- To enter, participants must share a fun fact about their heritage in the comments below on the specified competition post on Facebook during the competition period.
- Only one comment per participant will be considered for the draw. Multiple comments will not increase the chance of winning.
4. Winner Selection
- The winner will be selected at random using a random comment picker tool.
- The decision of the Organizer is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winner will be announced on 28 September via Facebook and contacted through direct messaging. If the winner does not respond within [48/72 hours], a new winner will be selected using the same process. The winner will be required to present satisfactory proof of identity when claiming the prize, as set out in the T&Cs or otherwise required by the Organizer. Any failure to accept these terms or to adhere to any part thereof shall disqualify a participant from participating in the Competition and/or being eligible for a prize.
5. Prize
- The prize for this Competition is a R250 voucher to purchase on our online store.
- The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other products.
- Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value at its discretion.
6. Disqualification
- Any participant found to be engaging in fraudulent or dishonest behavior, including but not limited to using multiple accounts or fake identities, will be disqualified.
7. Data Privacy
- By entering the Competition, participants agree to the collection and processing of their personal information solely for the purposes of administering the competition.
- Organizer will not share participants’ data with third parties, except as necessary to fulfill the prize delivery.
8. Publicity
- By entering the Competition, participants agree to the use of their name, image, and competition entry for promotional purposes by Organizer, without additional compensation.
9. Liability
- Organizer is not responsible for any technical issues, network failures, or any other event outside of its reasonable control that may affect the outcome of the competition or the ability of participants to enter.
- Organizer will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by the use or enjoyment of the prize. Organizer, its employees and/or affiliates are not responsible for entries not received for any reason, or for entries that are received but that are not decipherable or are defective for any reason. Entries reflected on Organizer’s records will be treated as the only validation source and shall be the only evidence of successful entries.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
11. Changes to Terms
- Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.
